Is flooding a good excuse?

So I have been working on a new comic post for a while, but I am such a procrastinator, and now school starts tomorrow, and I can't believe how lazy I've been! I was really sick for about a week and a half, which was sort of an excuse. It seems like there's always something going on. Tropical storm Fay came through this past week. We got 4 casual days in a row to . . . celebrate? I'm not really sure why they gave us extra casual days just because it was raining, but I enjoyed wearing jeans. Here is a picture of some mild flooding here where I live. The water in that picture is about a foot high, but it was really cause of poor drainage, as this was the only thing I saw like that in the whole town.
